The Society of Indonesian Science Journalists focuses on strengthening science journalism across the Indonesian archipelago. Founded in 2014, the organization has established a wide network between scientists and journalists in a wide variety of expertise and media outlets. SISJ realized that environmental issues are the prime representation of science in the developing world. Hence, SISJ strives to foster the science element in its reporting, including those related to the climate crisis.
