In this report, Delgerzaya Delgerjargal highlights Mongolian NGOs’ efforts in fighting climate change through plastic recycling initiatives. The NGOs provide waste management consulting services and give carbon offset certificates to companies that collect plastic waste.

Additionally, they recycle soft plastics to manufacture pit latrine linings, which prevent soil contamination from pit toilets. These initiatives contribute to Mongolia’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 22.7% by 2030.
