The climate story of the Philippines — grounded in science, told with clarity.
These fact sheets are condensed versions of the 2024 Philippine Climate Change Assessment (PhilCCA), providing clear, actionable insights into the country’s climate trends, projections, and risks. Covering everything from rising sea levels to intensifying tropical cyclones, they distill critical findings into easy-to-understand tools for journalists, policymakers, and communities alike.
The PhilCCA builds on its initial 2016 reports, synthesizing scientific knowledge from the past eight years. Modeled after the global assessment reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the PhilCCA offers a comprehensive review of local and international literature to enhance understanding and inform decision-making.
